Associate Attorney, Litigation The candidate responsibilities include the following: coordinate litigation strategies with supervising attorneys; manage caseload independently and proactively move cases from filing to resolution/disposition; represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trials; negotiate with opposing counsel; draft, review, and approve pleadings, motions, and written discovery; other duties as assigned. 1-3 years civil litigation experience and a positive, team-oriented attitude are a must. Should be active member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas. Juris Doctor Degree from ABA accredited law school is required. Effective oral and written advocacy skills and negotiation tactics are required. Must have strong knowledge of current procedural and substantive law, as well as federal and state rules. Court room experience preferred.
