Bankruptcy Paralegal The candidate must have experience with all aspects of Chapters 7 from document preparation, preferably familiar with Best Case Bankruptcy software, e-filing and service of petitions, motions and fee applications; Working knowledge of Bankruptcy Court Manual and applicable Local Bankruptcy Rules required; Prefer familiarity with state court rules and procedures. Should have 0-3 years of paralegal experience with a mastery Federal Bankruptcy law and procedures. Meet with clients during the intake process. Gather documents from clients for use in the preparation of bankruptcy petitions. Electronic filings in Federal and State courts; Data entry in Best Case bankruptcy prepare bankruptcy petitions. Work with clients to fulfill U.S. Trustee bankruptcy compliance items. Assist with the calendaring deadline and general administrative work.
