Patent Prosecution Paralegal The candidate responsibilities will include: E-filing U.S. patent applications, responses to office action, information disclosure statements, and formalities responses through EFS-Web. E-filing PCT applications with the U.S. Receiving Office through EFS-Web. Preparing and e-filing trademark applications, statements of use, 8 & 15 affidavits and other documents through TEAS. Reporting patent and trademark office actions to clients for both domestic and international matters. Corresponding with foreign associates regarding international patent and trademark applications. Corresponding with clients including reporting deadlines, responses as filed, sending reminders, etc. Calendaring deadlines for patents, trademarks and copyrights. Updating monthly status reports for select clients. Must have 5+ years IP prosecution experience, with heavy patent experience. Complete familiarity with EFS-Web a must. Familiarity with TEAS electronic filing a plus. College degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is a must. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
